America Recycles Day

On November 15th, Irvine Valley College celebrated America Recycles Day with an event at the school.  There were booths from organizations such as CalRecycle, Orange County Conservation Corp, The Last Orchard, Algalita Marine Research Institute, The Veterans Club, The Geography Club, and The Green Alliance Team.  It was a nice turn out of vendors and speakers that rallied for Zero Waste.

Recycle and Zero Waste

I hope next year there will be even more vendors, speakers and the general public that will attend.  Even more important is people that will take up the pledge to reuse, restore, recycle, eliminate chemicals and pesticides from homes and gardens.  How about you will you pledge to recycle more, reduce more, consume less, reuse or repurpose what you have?
